🤔 Is video marketing important? 🤔
<span style="font-family: "roboto" , "noto" , sans-serif; font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap;">

<span style="font-family: "roboto" , "noto" , sans-serif; font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap;">
Video marketing is important , especially in today’s digital world. I discuss 2 reasons why in the video.
First, video makes your voice search relevant. Voice search is becoming more prominent, and it has increased as a percentage of all searches.
Every year people are buying Alexa or Google Home products. And every year people are using the voice search functionality of their home devices.
In order to stay relevant in the eyes of Google or Bing, you need to create content delivered by voice. This is where video comes in.
By making videos, you inherently create content that’s delivered via voice. This help you establish voice relevancy when it comes to search engine marketing.
Second, video as a sales tool converts better than text. In fact, it’s the highest form of media when it comes to sales conversions.
If you go to Facebook or YouTube, you’ll find hundreds of entrepreneurs, selling digital courses. From Bitcoin to binary trading to Shopify courses, they’re trying to sell something different.
What do they all have in common?
They all use video to some degree in their sales funnels. Whether it’s their Facebook ad or their landing pages, these digital entrepreneurs often use video somewhere in their sales funnels.
The reason is simple --
Video works as a sales tool. Video converts.
💰Video gets people to spend their money on your products and services.

In short, video marketing is effective. If you Google statistics on video marketing, you will find 2 telling statistics about video:
👉 59% of executives agree that if both text and video are available on the same topic, they are more likely to choose video. (Wordstream)
👉 92 percent of mobile video viewers share videos with others. (Wordstream)
In today’s digital world, Internet users prefer video. Whether it is for entertainment or for education, it’s clear users prefer video over other forms of media.
So in order to reach potential customers, business owners need to leverage video. They need to showcase their products and services and tell their unique story with video.
Need more proof video is effective?
Just take a look at your Facebook profile.
You’ll see dozens of ads that use video, or it’s an ad that leads to a landing page with a video.
Marketers who use Facebook as their lead funnel use video in their sales funnels because they know video works.
Video converts.
Video gets potential customers to take out their credit cards and buy stuff, even if it’s not on Amazon.
So if you want to lever up your sales, definitely use video as part of your sales funnels. If you don’t, you’ll end up losing sales to your competitors who are very likely using video already to boost sales and awareness for their brands.
In this video, I discuss how Facebook has transformed itself since I joined with an EDU email almost 15 years ago. It has gone from a place to share last night experiences to the one of the giants in Internet marketing.

Facebook has shifted from simple text-based page posts to video, since its launch over a decade ago. Videos on Facebook will only go up from here. Like Twitter and LinkedIn, Facebook understands the future is video.

According CEO Mark Zuckergerg, “… most of [Facebook] will be video.” Facebook for years relied on photos and text-only posts, but he realized that the future of social media will be in video.

In fact, Facebook not only believes in traditional video, but it also believes in virtual reality videos, as evidenced by their acquisition of Oculus VR.

Facebook is fully committed to video. In five years, it could potentially be a strong competitor to video sites like YouTube or Vimeo. A Facebook executive officer made a prediction that their social media platform will all video and zero text by the end of 2021.

Video statistics on Facebook

The data on video use on Facebook have been positive:

People are 1.5 times more likely to watch videos on their smartphones. (Facebook).

62 percent of users said they had more interest in a product after viewing a Facebook story. (Marketing Land).

Facebook has more than eight billion video views each day. (TechCrunch).

About 80 million peruse Facebook’s video platform each day. (Adweek).

Video ads are now equally as popular as photo ads on FB. (Socialbakers).

More than 80% of businesses prefer to use Facebook as part of their video production strategy. (Buffer).

Moreover, the engagement on Facebook video is higher than other platforms. According to Lyfemarketing, the average engagement for Facebook videos is 6.3 percent versus 3.2 percent for YouTube videos and 0.2 percent on Instagram (which is owned by Facebook).

If your business uses paid advertising, then Facebook is a great platform to ad to your video marketing strategy. According to Fit Small Business, Facebook video ads have an average cost per click of $1.86.

This is way lower than paying for traditional print ads or television advertisements.

In summary, if your business is not using Facebook, there’s a high likelihood your competitor is on the platform. All the trends and statistics show positive results, when using video on Facebook.

It starts with the storyboarding. Storyboarding allows you to get the ideas from your head onto paper so you can share them with the rest of the crew. We always take time to storyboard each shot before arrival on location. It helps us block and save time for the client (which saves money on budget).

We shoot 24fps (for U.S. clients). Almost all modern films released in the U.S. are 24fps and has that cinematic look.

We use cameras with high dynamic range. It used to be impossible to shoot with high dynamic range. But camera tech has advanced so much that most people (even with an iphone) can get stunning images.

We have a systematic process to cover any event.

First we create a shot list. When preparing for a special event, I generally make two lists: First, make a list of the gear needed, such as headphones or a tripod. Second, make a list of specific shots the client will expect. Be sure when making this list to label times and places that these “Must Capture” moments will take place.

We stick to the list. It’s not enough to write a list – you need to use it! A key production principle is plan your shoot, shoot your plan. Your client will be counting on you to follow this principle whether they realize it or not, so create your plan and execute it.

However, we understand that there is a special something when shooting live events. We make sure to capture those as well.

We map out setup locations and times. Because of its live nature, certain things like speakers can only speak at a certain point. We are always aware at all times to make sure we cover everything.

If you've got an important event, definitely use a pro videographer. At 2Bridges, we provide top video production services to cover your event.

Figure out the purpose of your video

Are you just using video to build up your portfolio? Are you aiming to shoot an actual commercial to be featured in TV or YouTube?

For portfolio purposes, a good set of montages would suffice. For a commercial, it might be better if you include elements of a story. This could include a hook, a premise, a beginning and an end.

Storyboard your shots

Storyboarding is planning out your shots. You don't just show up at a location and start shooting. It takes time to setup cameras and get everyone in place.

It will help if you have a plan in place before the actual shoot. This is when shot lists and storyboards come into place. This helps save time and money when everything is planned out beforehand.

Find your team

This will depend on budget and what you're trying to shoot. For elaborate shoots, you might need a model, a makeup artist, a couple of videographers, a sound person and perhaps a grip.

Again it starts in the pre production process and having a shot list and storyboard. If you know what you're shooting, then you'll know what crew you'll need for your project.

Contact us if you want to plan your next fashion video. Our team of videographers stand ready to help.

It can be a challenge in a big city like New York, so it's best to use a professional videographer.

Preparing for a shoot outdoors can be quite similar to shooting indoors. Interior shots offer a lot of consistency in conditions. But venture outdoors and everything can change.

This can be a change in weather or a parade on Mulberry that you didn't know of. In New York, anything is possible.

For pre-planning, it's best to check the weather before shooting. Rain can damage a lot of electronical equipment so you want to avoid rain.

Pack an urban survival kit. Fanny packs are helpful as you can stuff batteries and small snacks in there. Also, bottled water and protein bars are great to have when filming a video outdoors.

Bring chargers for batteries. Some DSLRs, in particular Sony cameras, use up battery power fast. Make sure to bring chargers so you can recharge batteries, and continue to have available fresh batteries all day.

You can use the many coffee shops and diners around town as a pit stop should you ever need to stop and recharge.

It takes a lot to prepare for a professional video production. It's best to leave it to the professional videographers.

Ensure you have a compelling opening with professional video production services with 2Bridges.

It starts with a proper thumbnail. Especially in YouTube, the first thing any potential viewer will see is the thumbnail. Ensure the picture or infographic is compelling enough to attract a click. Without first clicking, the video won't play! So this first step is crucial.

Have an interesting opening shot. You can start out with a wide shot or a drone shot above to establish the setting. But make it interesting! Don't have a wide angle shot of a broken down warehouse or a typical suburban home. Make sure it's interesting, like using all the unique architecture in NYC.

Have a cool opening sound. This could be the intro music that starts out strong. It could be a quick sound byte from the video itself. The initial sound could be a way to keep your audience watching the video.

These are just basic tips if you are going about with producing your corporate video.

Those first 10 seconds is crucial. To help with planning your next video production project, contact us at 2Bridges.

Here are the steps to shoot a cinematic music video:

Select Your Song

This one's obvious. Select a song or single you'd like to feature in a music video. This could be the cover song of the album. It could be the one you're most proud of making. Artists usually want to create music videos for their upcoming singles. This is perfectly fine as it truly is the most logical step, since the artist is going to want to promote their new music.

Get a crew together

Working with 2Bridges, we take care of this step. But if you did do it yourself, you'll need a camera operator or two, a director, talent, a sound recordist, lighting, an editor and a sound mixer. Finally, you'll have to scout for locations and deal with permits.

Sounds like a lot of work? Enlist the services of a pro videographer like us to make it all work for you.

Storyboard your video

Always have a plan in hand before shooting a music video. Film time is expensive. Don't waste it on lack of planning. At 2Bridges, we work with you to make sure everything works properly on the day of the shoot.
Here are the different types of fashion films we provide video production services for.

Product Placement

Most commercials go for the direct sale on their products. With product placement, the aim is to be subtle in promoting the product. It could a short film with a real story, but the actors would be wearing the watches, which are being promoted.

A great example would be a James Bond film. People watch the explosions and the intrigue, but the movie is filled with product placements for watches and fancy cars.

Day in the Life Video

These videos have been popularized by YouTube. It follows a personality or influencer and how he or she goes about their lives. A prominent example would be Jenny Marbles on YouTube.

Other examples would be the many make up videos on YouTube and following them in their daily lives.

Narrative Film

Another way to shoot a fashion film is to just shoot a real movie. Whether it is a short film or a long feature, the actors would need wardrobe and there needs to be set design. The promotion of items would come naturally as the crew and the actors bring the narrative story to life.

These are just some of the ways to pull off a "fashion film". The best way to make an impact is to use professional videography services.
The best way to showcase your property is to use real estate video production services.

Video is the best way to reach a new audience and showcase the highlights of a property.

Here's how we provide videography services to real estate agents and property owners:

Make the Intro Pop

Just like in any video, the first few secons of a video really matters. Real estate agents will tell you that most buyers know if they will buy a home within the first few seconds of stepping inside.

Use a Camera Stabilizer

Professional real estate videos use a camera stabilizer to mimic a real walkthrough. Don't distract the audience with shaky cam. Let them get drawn into their dream property.

Just Play Some Fancy Music

Drop the Robin Leach voice over and just use music to showcase the lifestyle that they could have with this property. Voice over is so '80s! Lets get into the new century and use videography and some good music to showcase the property.

End on a High Note

Just like we start strong, real estate videos should end strong. This could be a drone shot from above. Or another wide angle of the property. Whatever it is - we'll grab that amazing footage to give the audience a lasting impression of the property.

Here is how we do it:

Get Social Proof

Unless you've invented something no one has ever done before, you're not the only business in your industry. You're likely competing with many other local enterprises and possibly large conglomerates like Amazon.

In order to stand out, you need to get your customer's attention. Help them gain trust in your brand. One way to do that is with customer testimonials.

These are powerful social proof from real customers of your product or service. They will help tell their story, their problems and how your product provided them a solution.

Connect Emotionally with Your Audience

When thinking about the stories that will support your video’s purpose, recognize that not all stories are equal. Some have more emotional pull than others.

If you can pull those emotional strings, then it's likelier your audience will stop to watch your video. They'll also likely to remember it.

At 2Bridges, our pre production process will help find the story in your brand.

Then we use video production to film a cinematic film that captures the story behind the product or service.
Here are the steps we take as a videography company:

Estimate Costs and Make a Schedule

As a video producer, we get a budget from the client. Then we create a preliminary budget for the production. We estimate what it costs to hire crew, rent equipment, get talent and secure locations.

Then we estimate the number of days of production.

Finally, we estimate the extent of post production required to produce a final video. These costs will include visual effects, motion graphics, and color correction.

Create a Production Schedule

This means securing the location for the production days. Then we create a shot list so we know what shots to take and on what days.

We assess how many scenes can be shot per day, keeping in mind the general rule of one page of the script is equal to one minute of screen time.

Gather the Crew and Talent

Finally, we make calls on who would best fill what roles in the film production. These can include the cinematographer, B cam operators, sound, grips and local talent.

This process can be overwhelming if you are a business owner. That's why leave it up to us for your video production needs.

Use Lots of Light

Many cameras don't do well in low light, especially iPhone footage. This is why you should use professional videography services if you have the budget. You'll need a pro eye and pro gear to get great results. The old adage - "you get what you pay for" - certainly applies when it comes to video production.

Emphasize Clean Audio

The film saying "fix it post" does not apply to sound. If you get the sound wrong, it will be very hard or near impossible to fix in post production. A simple hiss or an echo from a large room can be ameliorated to some extent in post. But very low speech or very high speech may not. It's better not to give your sound editors nightmares and just do it right in actual video production.

Limit Shaky Footage

Unless you are running and shooting in a parade, it's best to keep the footage stable. There are times where for stylistic purposes -- it's okay to have shaky cam. If you are doing a documentary style film or shooting a video like the show Parks and Recreation, the shaky cam is okay. However, for most corporate video production, it's important to have a steady professional shot.
Here are reasons why you should consider video production to create compelling video ads for your product or service:

Video creates stronger memories in people

As consumers have gained access to more impressive technology, it has become harder to impress an audience and attract attention. People are used to seeing a large amount of advertisement materials each day, usually through online branding and websites. With video, they have a higher chance of remembering your brand or value proposition.

It's easier to create trust through demonstration.

Potential customers are often unaware of how a product or service works. They just know they have a problem or need that requires attention. By having a video demonstration, they have an easier time to understand how and why your product is right for them.

Video creates a feeling for your product

Want to create a sexy appeal? Then create videos for Instagram with fancy models and fancy cars. Want to come across as a serious organization? Then create a video filled with actors in business suits. Showcase charts, graph and numbers. Video can really be a great way to showcase your brand and what you're about.

Here's how we do it:

We help clients identify their goals.

Videos can be expensive to produce, so it’s important to get crystal clear on your goals before you start writing dialogue.

As an example, you're company might want to introduce a new product. Or perhaps show how your product or service is different from the competition. We help design the script and the actual production with the end goal in mind.

Set the tone

Every video is different. Do you want a candid video, where the camera is in the background, like it was part of the audience?

Do you want a documentary style, similar to the show "The Office"?

Perhaps you want a full blown Hollywood style commercial.

Every video production is different. We are only limited by your ability to imagine.

Decide on length of video

For social media videos, a 1 minute version should be sufficient for most businesses. But if you're in a technical field, perhaps a longer form video is important.

If you want to position yourself as a thought leader in your industry, think about a whole lecture series.

Depending on your goal, we help craft the best video to achieve your goals.

We work with any budget. Our ability to execute is only limited by your ability to dream.
At 2Bridges, we ensure that our video production results in a cinematic film that will garner the attention of your audience.

Initiate a personal bond from the get-go

Your opening statement should serve to initiate a personal connection with the audience and it should include who you are and what you do in as little words as possible in a fun and witty manner just as the aforementioned example does.

It needs to be personal, like a CEO talking openly about his business to investors. Be sure to be looking straight into the camera whilst introducing yourself to let the person on the other end know that you’re talking to them directly; almost like you’re having a personal conversation with a friend.

Use curiosity to your advantage

You don’t need an overly dramatic script to spike your audience’s curiosity, all you need is a couple of simple questions punctuating and breaking down endless conversations every now and again.

Ask questions and answer them regularly every half a minute or so because people tend to drift off when the words start coming thick and fast.

Questions can reel them back in and create a reference for what next you are going to talk about therefore planting the seed of curiosity.
It's parent Facebook is already the largest social media platform on the planet. Facebook intends to focus on video in the coming years, and Instagram is part of that strategy.

If you're not on Instagram, then you'll miss out on a great opportunity to reach a new audience or to keep your existing clients engaged.

Instagram is the place to get noticed

In January 2018, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg shared that two-thirds of visitors a business’s Instagram profile aren’t yet following the brand. Facebook shared that about 20% of the time spent on Instagram is in the Explore tab. It’s undeniable that Instagram is a place for brands to get discovered and the place that consumers are scoping out brands.

It's time to get your video production project off the ground. Your NYC customers are waiting!

Here's how you can improve the cinematic value of your NYC video production:

Shoot with the best format you can afford

Yes, you can use your iphone to shoot video. But it still doesn't beat a typical cinema camera with a choice of top quality lens. You won't get the same bokeh effect. You can't have those nice dolly shots.

With everyone doing video these days, your business can't afford low quality production. You need to hire a professional NYC videographer to get quality film production.

Shoot in the city

We live in one of the most cinematic places in the world. Take advantage of it! Also, you can claim to be a NYC business if you don't showcase your neighborhood! Get a professional NYC cinematographer to help you choose the best film locations in NYC for your corporate video.

Get movement in your shots

Building upon the first point, a viewer can tell it's an cell phone video by the lack of movement. Usually, there's not even a stabilizer so you have shaky cam. If that's the style you're going for, then go for it!

But most businesses don't want shaky cam footage. You'll need a pro videographer with a camera and equipment to provide high quality video production.

It doesn't have to be expensive. At 2Bridges, we work with all budgets. Contact us today to learn about our video production services.

Virtual Reality Videos

These videos are relatively new to the scene. With the improvement of technology, it's now possible to shoot a place of business as if you were there. These VR videos are great for real estate (walk an apartment without being there!). This can be also great for promoting event spaces.

Personalized Message videos

These videos are designed to continue a conversation with a prospective prospect. Use HubSpot Video or Loom to record yourself recapping an important meeting or giving personalized recommendations. These videos create a delightful, unique moment for your prospects and can drive them further down the purchase journey.

Live Videos

These are also relatively new to the scene. But there has been a big push, especially with Facebook to film videos live. Live video gives your viewers a special, behind-the-scenes look at your company. It also draws longer streams and higher engagement rates — viewers spend up to 8.1x longer with live video than with video-on-demand. Live-stream interviews, presentations, and events, and encourage viewers to comment with questions.

It's important to know which part of the sales funnel are you targeting. If it's near the top, videos need to be entertaining. Middle and end of funnel should be more specific to the business.

At 2Bridges, we can provide guidance how to make the most of your videos.

You're business is competing with so many other businesses. It's important to employ video production to produce quality films that will garner the attention of busy New Yorkers.

Here are steps on how you can use cinematic business videos to boost your business:

Introduce yourself as the owner

Some of the best videos can be a simple "hi, hello." Try the friendly approach and gain your audience trust and attention. When you've got their attention, then discuss what your business is about and what problem your product is solving. Keep it under 2 minutes because most strangers will not have the time to watch a 10 minute video about you.

Provide Social Proof

To gain the trust of your audience, it's best to use social proof. Instead of the owner providing info about the business, use existing customers instead. Just like Yelp and Google reviews help create trust around a brand, video testimonials are just as good. You can post these videos on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube. Post them on your website. People trust brands that have a lot of likes and have super fans.

Inform your audience

Sometimes the soft sell is the best approach. Display expertise in your field by providing a quick how-to on solving a common problem faced by your customers. You're not selling, but you're showing you know your stuff. This creates trust, which eventually leads to sales.

Videos are powerful. Use them in your business maketing.
