You can take pictures you have on your computer and upload them to make comedy videos. What you are doing is taking the face and replacing the one on the jibjab site.
And, the best thing is that it is free.
Of course, like any other doo dad on the Internet, there is a upgrade you can purchase that entitles you to do lots more stuff.
After you complete your funny movie, there is a link you can copy and paste to send in emails or place on a site. These are so much fun!
Instructions:
Step 1: First thing, is you need to go to JibJab. I will place a link at the end of the article in the resources.
Step 2: You need to open a Jibjab account. If you have a Facebook account, you can use that to log in. If you do that, you will have access to pictures of all your Facebook friends to make movies with. You can also automatically post your videos to your Facebook Page.
Step 3: After you have a log in, whichever way you choose, you can begin to make your comedy movies to send ecards free. If you are using the free features, you will have the most selection if you click on everyday fun. There are holiday movies, but I only saw one free choice. The free movie choices will have a "free" banner in one corner. Remember that photos are not movies...look for the classification "video."
Step 4: After you choose a video, it will prompt you for photos by the choice to "make a head." If you are using the Facebook Log-in, you will have the choices of all of your Facebook friends. Otherwise, you will need to upload headshots of the people you want to feature in your video.
Step 5: You will choose between three face shapes, and then go through a cropping choice or two. The cropping tool is very easy. You click little dots and pull the outline to the right place. You then move a mouth marker to the right spot. You will be an expert at this after one time.
They will ask you for a name for the head, and whether it is male or female.
Step 6: You then drag a head where you want it to be. You decide who stars in your comedy videos.
Step 7: After you hit done, you are ready to view your comedy videos. If you want to send an ecard free, you can copy and paste the link in an email. If you want a permanent download of the video, it is not free. You can publish this to your facebook, if you are logged in that way.
They give you an embed code and a link to use. Send to all your friends, or better yet, place your friend's face in a video! Then, send to them!
